Promethium Announces No-Code Federated Query Pipelines

Today, Promethium announced a partnership with Snowflake, the Data Cloud Company, to provide federated query pipelines for the Data Cloud. Promethium’s federated query pipelines can allow Snowflake customers to publish a federated query created in Promethium to the Snowflake platform in just a few clicks, without writing code or building complex ETL pipelines. Data teams can now push data to Snowflake much easier and much faster.

Data is the essential digital fuel that organizations rely on to make crucial decisions, but with data trapped in silos, accessing data is slow and difficult. Promethium was designed to break down silos and enable rapid, on-demand cross-silo analytics using disparate on-premises and cloud data sources.

Snowflake created the Data Cloud to enable organizations to unlock the value of data with Snowflake’s unique integrated platform that eliminates on-premises and cloud-generated data silos, and with Promethium, Snowflake customers can get even more more of their investments in the Data Cloud.

Specifically, Snowflake customers can use Promethium to accelerate data pipelines and move data to Data Cloud without the complexity and long latency of traditional ETL and data migration. Snowflake customers can benefit from:

Single view of data – A single, organization-wide view of data provides an instant understanding of what data is in the Snowflake Data Cloud and what is not. Intuitive natural language search makes it quick and easy to find and access the most relevant data.

Advanced Data Preparation – Powerful data preparation that can provide an easy user experience and real-time results at every step without the need to move data first.

Federated query on demand – On-demand federated query joins data that is in the Snowflake Data Cloud with data that is not, improving agility for faster decisions. Then quickly push that data into the Data Cloud by publishing federated query results with one click using Promethium’s no-code federated query pipeline for Snowflake’s Data Cloud.
