Obituary of Joyce Kober – Bucks County Courier Times

Joyce Kober

Joyce Kober returned home to her Lord and Savior on February 28, 2022 at the age of 77. She died at home of natural causes. Joyce committed her life to the Lord through baptism in 2011.

Joyce resided in Florida for the last 5 years of her life, after living more than 30 years in Levittown. Joyce was the pillar of her family’s strength and reliability. She has a strong work ethic and has worked most of her life outside the home in various occupations, retiring as an electronic component assembler in Levittown. After retiring, she decided to work part-time at Sesame Place for fun. She suffered great losses from her husband and son to cancer, the loss of two sisters, and was her mother’s caretaker until her death. Despite these losses, sadness and grief, she carried on and was always available for her family and friends to lend a caring ear and had a generous heart. She loved family and friends and was our Rock!

Joyce is the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Blackiston Hopkins, faithful wife of the late Eddie, devoted mother to her precious son, the late Eric and daughter-in-law Shelly. Loving Grammy to her one and only granddaughter Kiersten, who was the love of her life. Dear sister of Edna, Joann and the late Pumpkin and the late Sarah. A loving and caring aunt to all the nieces and nephews of her beloved sisters and extended family.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Oakland Cemetery, where she will be interred with her beloved Eddie.
