Miraclon launches FLEXCEL NX core software

Miraclon, home of Kodak FLEXCEL Solutions, announced the launch of Kodak FLEXCEL NX Central software, offering customers a step change in their flexo platemaking productivity. Saving up to 90% time on manual plate layout and increasing plate utilization by up to 10%, the next-generation software streamlines the platemaking process and enables seamless integration of several advanced plate surface patterning features designed to improve print performance, including those delivered in FLEXCEL NX Print Suite for PureFlexo Printing – in an automated plate layout, allowing customers to complete more jobs in less time and at lower cost.

Successor to Miraclon’s Kodak TIFF Assembler Plus (TAP) software, the new automated plate layout process is optimized across the user’s entire portfolio of media formats to maximize utilization, increasing consistency and reducing errors by minimizing human touch points.
