TORONTO, May 30, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Firan Technology Group Corporation (TSX:FTG) today announced that IPC’s Validation Services Program has granted requalification for IPC-1791, Trusted Electronics Fabricator Requirements Qualified Manufacturers Listing (QML) at FTG Circuits Fredericksburg, VA.

FTG is a global company providing design, development, prototyping and manufacturing solutions for aerospace and defense electronic products and subsystems.

Following initial IPC audits, FTG’s Fredericksburg facility has met stringent Type 2 manufacturer requirements, helping to optimize product quality, reliability and consistency across manufacturing operations, which has earned it a prominent place in IPC’s global network of rigorously vetted trusted sources. Requirements for requalification and QML listing according to IPC-1791 include product and quality system, supply chain risk management system (SCRM), security system including NIST SP compliance 800-171, export control laws (ITAR and EAR) and a Chain of Custody System Review (ChoC).

FTG Circuits is a standard rigid product manufacturer of high technology and high reliability printed circuit boards, high density interconnect (HDI), RF circuitry, thermal management, rigid flex and assembly. FTG produces boards using traditional PCB fabrication processes and an A-SAP™ semi-additive process under license from Averatek.
